According to the United Health Foundation’s 2016 Annual Report Ranking, Oklahoma is the 46th healthiest state, making it one of the top five states with the biggest challenges.  Improving our ranking will require a concerted effort from policy makers, health professionals, state and local government, insurers, business and community leaders, advocacy organizations, consumer groups, the faith community, American Indian tribal leadership, and our residents.  All Oklahoman's deserve to live healthy lives.  To ensure everyone in the state has that opportunity, the health of populations served must be considered when making decisions, not only in healthcare, but in public and private sectors.  The Oklahoma Public Health Association Conference will explore all the components needed to improve overall health in Oklahoma.

Branding Guidelines

Branding webinar (part two)

APHA has developed specific guidelines for three areas of our Association, including APHA affiliated state and regional public health associations. Specific language is recommended to effectively illustrate the APHA Affiliate relationship and should be used in all communications.  Also, the guidelines address the appropriate usage of the APHA Affiliate logo and how to request specific logos for different purposes (e.g. different colors or for logos suited for printing purposes.)

The guidelines are designed to support official APHA-affiliated state and regional public health associations in promoting their relationship with APHA and are effective immediately. To download the guidelines, please visit the APHA guidelines page. If you have questions regarding the APHA Affiliate logo or want to request a different logo size or type, please use the online request form on the APHA website or to request a different logo size or type.
