Types of Memberships

Individual Members:


Who can be an individual member?

Individual members are employees who work in a public health or related field or who are interested in the promotion of public health.


Benefits of Individual Membership:

  • Professional development opportunities at the Annual Conference and regional training events

  • Reduced Conference registration fees

  • Quarterly newsletter with updates and opportunities for member engagement

Student Member                                                 $10.00

Corporate Members:


Who can become a Corporate Member?

Corporate membership is for agencies or organizations, or health-related subunits of agencies and organizations interested in public health. Organizations with 50 or more full-time employees are eligible for Corporate Memberships.


What are the benefits of a Corporate Membership?

  • Corporate members are listed as sponsors and receive a full page ad in the Annual Conference program

  • Free exhibit booth space at the Annual Conference

  • Reduced conference registration fees for employees

  • Voice in setting public health policies for Oklahoma

  • Access to public health employees who can provide technical assistance and support on public health issues

 

Corporate Membership Fees

 50-199 employees

 $15/employee

 200-499 employees

 $12/employee

 500-799 employees

 $10/employee

 800-999 employees

 $9/employee

 1000+ employees

 $8/employee

Corporate membership dues are capped at a maximum of $10,000.

(Fees are based on total number of full-time employees in the organization or sub-unit.)

How can I become a Corporate Member?

  • Complete a Corporate Member Application Form and submit the form to the address listed. 

  • All corporate applications will be submitted to the OPHA Board  for approval at the next occurring board meeting. 

  • You will be notified within 30-60 days if your application has been approved.


INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

Individual Memberships are comprised of employees of:

  • Colleges and Universities

  • Community Health Related Services

  • Mental Health Agencies

  • Hospitals

  • Indian Tribes

  • Local, State, Federal Agencies

  • Non-profit Associations and Agencies

  • Private Professional Practice

  • Retiree, Consultants, volunteers and

  • Safety Net Providers & Advocates
