2017 Application Process Closed

The Oklahoma Public Health Association (OPHA) is committed to enhancing educational opportunities in public health.  OPHA is taking applications for its annual academic scholarship to be awarded to an OPHA member(s), enrolled full or part-time, post high school.  Applicants must be enrolled in a school that is sponsored by or accredited by an Oklahoma based college or university.  The amount to be awarded this year will be up to a total of $1,000.00 to be distributed among one or more students.

Student membership is $20.00.  Others, who may apply for the scholarship but may not qualify for student membership, or are not covered under a corporate membership pay dues of $40.00 for a one-year membership. You do not have to be a member to apply for the scholarship.


The scholarship application process: 

 Applications will be accepted until September 20, 2017.  Winners will be notified and will be recognized during the awards ceremony at OPHA's annual conference to be held at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center on September 27th.  Attendance is preferred.
